Experienced Medical Coder:

Responsible for entering charges for the professional, hospital inpatient and ASC claims. This includes electronic and paper claim submission.  As a certified coder, reviews claims prior to submission for coding accuracy and provides feedback/education as needed in conjunction with the billing manager. Certified Coder CPC may also provide phone coverage through billing call center, answering billing questions by phone, assisting patients in making payment arrangements and problem solving. Idaho Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation PA is a growing practice with clinics in Boise and Meridian and an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Meridian. High school graduate and Certified Professional Coder credentials required from American Academy of Professional Coders or RHIT through AHIMA. College degree preferred. At least two years healthcare experience in billing, coding, and processing of insurance claims and claims resolution. Administrative Medical Assistant:

Administrative Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining the assigned physician’s schedule and increasing the physician’s efficiency by handling all of the assigned provider’s clerical needs. Schedule patient appointments by phone or in person. These include appointments for IPM&R providers as well as appointments for diagnostic studies, outpatient operative procedures, and referrals to outside physicians and clinics. Work is performed in a busy office environment and requires desk work. Frequent contact with employees, patients and outside agencies. Sitting required for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard. Bending and stooping required. Public contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, patients, organizations and the public. Attention to detail. Basic computer skills. High school graduate or equivalent. Technical training in healthcare field desired. CERTIFICATION IN MEDICAL ASSISTING REQUIRED. Clinical Medical Assistant:

Clinical Medical Assistant enables physicians to make efficient use of their clinic time by maintaining smooth patient flow. This is accomplished by having the patients in the exam rooms and ready to see the doctor at the time of their appointment, and keeping the exam rooms stocked with medical supplies the physician may need during the examination. Room patients and record all information needed by providers (vital signs, medication review, etc) for exam at the scheduled appointment time. Draw blood/collect urine specimen for laboratory tests, send specimens and all appropriate laboratory paperwork or process. Plan ahead for exam rooms needed, assuring needed room is available for EMG or other procedure. Medical office, hospital unit clerk or other office experience desired. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, patients, organizations and the public. Attention to detail. Basic computer skills. Work is performed in a busy office environment and requires desk work. Frequent contact with employees, patients and outside agencies. Public contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Sitting required for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard. Bending and stooping required. High school graduate or equivalent, completion of Medical Assistant training course preferred. Currently certified as a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant.
